Theory and Application: Mentorship
I am so lucky and proud to have served as a mentor to so many teachers, educators and professionals but I would be remiss if I didn't thank all the incredible mentors I have had throughout my life. My undergrad academic advisor, Dr. Navarro-Farr inspired me and opened up so many doors and opportunities, my mentor for my master's practicuum, Dr. Maysoon Almazyed pushed me to continuously improve my teaching and thinking and these two women are only two in a vast network of mentors, teachers, friends and colleagues who have guided me to where I am now.
This paper examines the importance of mentorship and how leaders can create, structure and apply great mentorship strategies to empower and inspire our future generations of educators and leaders
